Secured by DesignSnowdonia Windows is currently the only company in North Wales to achieve the Secured By Design licence, awarded by the Association of Chief Police Officers. These window locking systems significantly reduce the chances of a break-in at a property. Your home insurance may offer enhanced rates if you install our range of secure approved products.

BPFSnowdonia Windows is a member of both the British Plastics Federation and Constructionline. The British Plastics Federation is the leading trade association of the UK Plastics Industry and plays a useful and constructive role in the development of legislation and standards at both UK and EU government levels.

FENSA

FENSASnowdonia Windows is a FENSA registered company. FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) was established by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) at the request of the Deputy Prime Minister in response to current Building Regulations for England and Wales. All replacement glazing in homes falls within the scope of the Building Regulations. Anyone who installs replacement windows or doors has to comply with current thermal performance standards. When having windows and doors replaced, homeowners must ensure they acquire a certificate of compliance. This may be obtained from FENSA or from Local Authority Building Control.
